Located at the base of Mystic Mountain and at the head of the trails, we are perfect for all levels of Mountain Biking. We are also a stones through from the shuttle pick up and the pump tracks.

Victoria’s North East is a road cycling paradise! With breathtaking scenery, quiet country roads, alpine ascents, and happy-to-help locals. With such a wide range of cycling options, this part of the world is THE ideal holiday destination for avid road cyclists.

The walking tracks of Bright are picturesque and showcase the beautiful township, rivers, forests, and wildlife of the area. There are many short walks which will show you the natural beauty of Bright and Surrounds.

The mountains surrounding Bright create perfect lookouts, providing a great opportunity to take in the true beauty and amazing natural surrounds of the area. Just a short drive from town centre, lookouts such as Apex, Tower Hill, Mystic Mountain and Mount Buffalo have amazing views.

Bright is full of beautiful places to swim. Two popular spots are Morses Creek and Sinclair’s. A section of Morses Creek runs parallel to our park, which is perfect for sitting and relaxing in. Many customers take down picnic baskets and an esky, as there is room to sit riverside. Sinclair’s watering hole is a trendy spot for those looking for more action.

Whether it’s a peaceful cross country ski through the snow gums, the thrill of downhill skiing and snowboarding or tobogganing and snowball fights with the family. Bright’s surrounding peaks offer something to suit all tastes and styles; Mount Hotham, Falls Creek, Dinner Plain and Mount Buffalo all offer sensational snow fun. 

Camp Crusty backs onto the base of Mystic Mountain. Mystic Mountain has a paraglider and hang-glider launch pad, which is internationally renowned and is used for national competitions such as ‘Bright Open’. Many companies in town offer Tandem flights for those who are not pilots but are interested in giving it a go.

Whether its fly fishing in our rivers and streams, Alpine angling in our lakes and reservoirs or catching dinner in a Trout and Salmon farm. Bright and surrounds, with its pristine waters, is sure to cater for all your fishing desires.
